Tony was born in Bournemouth and educated at Bournemouth School for Boys before taking up an apprenticeship in welding/fabricating. Tony worked in this area for 22 years before deciding on a career change, when he enrolled for night school at Poole College. Tony subsequently qualified as an electrician, with a particular interest in automation technology.
He moved to Poole in 1992 and has been residing in social housing managed by PHP for the last 14 years with his wife.
They have 7 children and 9 grandchildren all of whom live in the borough. Tony wants to actively contribute to the drive to maintain existing housing stock to a high and relevant standard as well as investing wisely in new stock.
Tony is well integrated in the local community whilst maintaining a responsible job as a senior engineer working for a global automatic door company.
Elected to the Board in October 2016, he makes a valuable contribution by providing useful insight into the views and priorities of local community.
