IMPORTANT - GARAGE AUDIT
As the building works for Project Admiral are drawing nearer, PHP is looking at alternative parking solutions for tenants living in Poole Town. It is important to ensure all garages being rented in the town centre are being utilised efficiently and for the purpose they were intended.
Your Garage Licence agreement states:
You must not:
Use the garage for any purpose other than the storing of your motor vehicle(s). If anything else is stored inside, this would be at your own risk, may not be covered by your insurance and would be your responsibility.
PHP are completing a garage audit to ensure they are being used correctly. Please can I ask you to attend and open your garage for a full inspection on the following dates and times:
Drake Court Garages
Monday 4th March between 11am – 1pm
Nelson Court (South Road) Garages
Wednesday 6th March between 11am – 1pm
Perry Gardens & Whatleigh Close Garages
Friday 8th March between 11am – 1pm
Old Orchard Garages
Monday 11th March between 3pm - 5pm
If you do not attend PHP may issue you with a notice to quit, which will end your garage licence and you will be charged the full clearance cost.
Please be advised, if you are using your garage for storage you will be issued with a 14 days notice to clear. If this is not adhered to, you will be served with a notice to quit and recharged the cost for PHP to clear the garage.
If you are unable to attend the above date, please contact us to schedule a more suitable time.

The interviews to appoint a Contractor to carry out the refurbishment of the tower blocks in Poole Town were held between 10th and 12th December 2018, and we are pleased to say we had a resident representative on the panel.
The tender evaluation report will be presented to the Council’s Overview & Scrutiny panel on the 28th January 2019. It will then go to Cabinet on 5th February and finally Full Council on 19th February. If approved we will then undertake formal leaseholder consultation.
Subject to Council approval, and the conclusion of leaseholder consultation, we would look to award the contract during March 2019.
We hope to have further details in March regarding the schedule and programme of works.
Once we appoint a contractor, we will hold a ‘meet the contractor’ event, local to you, where you will have an opportunity to meet them, and PHP staff again, to talk through the project and any new or further questions you have about the works.
