The team works closely with residents who are having difficulty maintaining their tenancies. They work with the most vulnerable and complex cases of anti-social behaviour or breach of tenancy; such as hoarding or poor property condition. They are able to dedicate more time to each case and will work intensively with residents, often carrying out weekly visits.
The aim of the team is to support residents to sustain their tenancies and reduce the risk of tenancy action being taken against them. When a resident does not engage with the team, or take the appropriate steps to avoid further breach of tenancy, the team will then consider legal interventions such as an injunction, Closure Order, or possession proceedings.
