Tenant involvement and empowerment panel

Join us to keep in touch

Residents recently met PHP's Chief Executive, Su Spence and Director of Housing, Steve Richards – this is a brief outline of what was discussed:

  • We have asked residents to be extra vigilant as we have had thefts of lead from our lifts in Poole Town
  • Trinidad Village is busy welcoming new residents – don’t forget the café is open to the community
  • Watch out for signs of building works in April as we commence new homes at Canford Heath Road
  • We are exploring options for refurbishment of the tower blocks in Poole Town... more details at future meetings
  • We will be introducing changes for future (new) tenants with the introduction of Fixed Term tenancies this year
  • The annual discussion on rent levels and service charges was seen by residents as positive news
  • We are consulting with 3 sheltered housing schemes to bring better facilities and training to help residents to get ‘on-line’
  • The consultants who reviewed our staffing structure changes for Housing Management Services were positive about our approach
  • We are looking forward to improved ways of working when our new IT system goes live later this year
  • We received positive feedback from residents on the Winter edition of ‘At Home’, thank you to all who commented
