Unfortunately due to lack of take up, the model making course on Tuesday 24th May and the watercolour session on Tuesday 14th June will not be taking place

Session One - Tuesday 17th May 18:00 to 20:30

Flower Arranging

Spring flower arrangements are always uplifting to the spirit, the bright sunny faces of daffodils and the lush green of the foliage, with the soft focus of the blossom could lighten the gloomiest weather. Using seasonal materials, you will be shown how to design and then make an arrangement, as simple or as complicated as you feel the arrangement needs to be, to represent your chosen theme. If you have any accessories or a container that you would like to include in the design, please bring them along.

This course aims to introduce you to some basic floristry techniques that are required to create these designs. After learning these skills, you will be able to build and develop more advanced floral designs which you can then share with and impress your family and friends.

Session Two - Tuesday 7th June 18:00 to 20:30

Reuse, Recycle, Reinvent

Come along, have fun and be creative, making new items out of old - saving broken items going to the landfill and giving them a whole new life!

You will be creating lights to create a cosy ambience in your home, using empty bottles, chalk paint, decoupage techniques and mini battery-operated lights. Using craft techniques and creative skills and a little imagination, you will be supported and encouraged to create something beautiful. – Be warned, if you enjoy this, you may have to carry on at home. Not only is it highly addictive, but it will also contribute towards helping to save our planet too!
