Setting high standards!

One of our strategic objectives is to provide excellent services to customers. 

We are one of the best performing housing organisations nationally and work hard to improve year on year.

We believe that to achieve and maintain this we need to constantly monitor our performance in key areas and also compare our performance against other similar organisations.

Working with our customers and key partner, Borough of Poole, we set performance targets and these are reported to and monitored by:

We regularly monitor how we are doing against the best housing organisations across the country.

 

To continue our improvement we will:

  • Develop and enhance our performance framework

  • Use the Residents’ Satisfaction Surveys to develop new service standards

  • Develop our Resident Scrutiny to ensure effective resident involvement in continual improvement of services

  • Review key services against national standards and implement changes to policies and procedures systematically

  • Use best practice and up-to-date technology, where appropriate, to achieve efficiencies and improved performance

We will benchmark our services as part of the Housemark and ALMO benchmarking clubs and use the results to focus our work. 

We will share best practice with other excellent housing providers. This involves staff and residents having the opportunity to visit and learn from other “best in class” organisations and change the way we work accordingly.
