Repairs Service Standard (Major Repairs)

We have developed service standards for each team and the area of work that they cover, to ensure that you receive a consistently high quality service from us.

Major Repairs: we will...

  • Keep the standards for improvement works, known as the Poole Standard, up to date via the monthly meeting of the Reinvestment Panel.
  • Spend at least 80% of the available budget on major repairs and no more than 20% on response repairs.
  • Strive for zero defects on completion of the works.
  • We will agree with you how best to keep you informed of progress and target dates throughout the project.
  • Ensure our contractors follow the code of conduct.
  • Involve you in the monitoring of the Contracts through satisfaction surveys and regular site meetings.
  • Leave your home clean and tidy after the works.
  • Report at least quarterly on how we are doing through our At Home magazine and on our web page.
  • Make sure our contractors wear identity badges that are easy to read.
  • Provide a Resident Liaison Officer for all long-term major works
